Join Bob Milne in Lapeer, Michigan for his 2013 Michigan Ragtime Retreat, September 17-20, 2013. You need not be a piano player to benefit greatly from these classes. Students will learn how common principles apply to all levels of music. Classes will convene near downtown Lapeer in a spacious meeting room at Castaways Restaurant (on Lake Nepessing), 4058 Hunt Rd., Lapeer MI 48446. (Please do not contact the restaurant. They'll simply tell you to call us.) Classes meet from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., with individual lessons in the afternoon.(The very limited number of piano lessons are available for an additional charge, so reserve early.) The Retreat concludes with Friday night's 6:00 p.m. "Pleasant Moments" Dinner Concert at the Lapeer Center Bldg., 425 County Center St., Lapeer, MI 48446.
